Bye-bye Jimmy Choo: Tamara Mellon

Jimmy Choo's co-founder sells her last quota and leaves the empire she created.

Everything started in 1996, when Tamara noticed an unknown designer coming from Malaysia. He is Jimmy Choo. He becomes famous in the world of fashion and his empire reaches 600 € million. In 2001, Tamara had already sold 50% (10 € million) of her quota. Yet, that was just the first step towards complete selling. Anayway the famous maison has continued increasing  its sellings, also creating a men collection. What about Tamara's future? She will probably lead another designer to victory... Is this true?

Tutto inizia nel 1996, quando Tamara nota le potenzialità di un designer malesiano sconosciuto. Lui è Jimmy Choo. Diventa famoso nel mondo della moda ed il suo impero raggiunge i 600 milioni di euro. Nel 2001 Tamara aveva già venduto il 50% della sua quota (10 milioni di euro), il primo passo prima dell'abbandono. La maison continua a crescere, tanto da creare una collezione uomo. Cosa farà Tamara nel futuro? Probabilmente condurrà un altro designer alla vittoria... Sarà vero?
